Re: Fixed Glass?
On the cage issue, I'd recommend only a custom cage... With the unique shape of that car, the likelihood of a good outcome with a pre-bent cage is pretty low.
(You can take that with a grain of salt, as it comes from a custom cage builder)

The only glass we 'require' to be removed ( or rolled down ) are the two front door windows. In this case the fixed glass in those doors would have to be removed. You can leave the rest of the glass. There may be some tracks we run on that require all but the windshield to be removed, but that isn't likely...
Thank you for the clarification, John
Engineer, I'll look into it! Do you know if he prefers to start from scratch or (as I'm finding with most of the people around me) starting with one of those "Lemons approved" kits (i.e. http://www.swracecars.com/store/Lemons- … R_354.aspx or http://www.rollcagecomponents.com/new-category-3/)?
I'd rather start from scratch, but I don't own a bender, nor have the mad skillz required to do proper welding ( I only do stick welding which is really just soldering on steroids...)
I'll drop him an email and see what his season is looking like, thanks for the hint.
