Believe it or not, Volvo 240s usually do pretty well at LeMons; most of them run all weekend.

i REALLY wanna keep this car, but my idiot teamates want to run a honda...and unfortunatly they have the garage to store the car all winter...

If only PA weren't so far from FL. Take 500# off of that thing (give it the full Lightning McQueen treatment) and it would go from a top 20 car to a to a top 10 car instantly!

So your teammates prefer changing head gaskets to racing? So be it!

I can say that I was impressed with this car when on the track racing against it. It's got excellent power (blew my ass away on acceleration) and appears to handle quite very well. Kicked the shiznit out of our oft-hated E30 325E slow ass POS that finished 29th at Nelson Ledges.

Who did that roll cage, looks professional! If you were closer and I actually had money to spend a place to keep it....looks great!

I can't see the pics ... (have to be a forum member) Is it the furry leopard spot 240? I had a team mate that wanted that car. I'll send him a link to this post.

It's this car. For those of you who have never raced LeMons before, an 18th-place finish in a 100+ entry event is grounds for weeks of celebration by the rightfully proud team. This here is a good deal on a near-turnkey LeMons contender.

Very, very reasonably priced, too. However, I detect a team that wants to win....
