Topic: Alameda 4th of July Parade - any Lemons entries?

Last year there was a Lemons contingent that ran cars in the Alameda 4th of July parade - very cool to see the 'exceptional' (ahem) entries which won first place for something in the parade - anybody showing up this year?

Re: Alameda 4th of July Parade - any Lemons entries?

If you are on the FaceBooks,Jesse Cortez posted in the Lemons Racer Lounge....

"Adrian Smith, Bunny Pistol and I are organizing the return of 24 Hours of Lemons to the Alameda,CA 4th of July Parade. Last year we had 6 lemon cars and a great time. We even won a trophy!
Here are some facts:
This is an endurance parade! No kidding, the parade route is 4 miles long and takes about 2.5 hours to complete (keep this in mind if your car doesn't like idling without blowing a radiator)...."

There are a lot of people that responded...

45+x Loser.....You'd think I would learn......
5x I.O.E  Winner   1 Heroic Fix Winner   1 Org Choice Winner

(Still a Class B driver in a Class A car)

Roger that, BigBird - thanks for the cross-post since Facebook is terra incognito for me.

It was a fun time last year - wish I had a pic of the (Pinto Cruising Wagon?) pushing the USS Hornet's radio team's stalled utility wagon through the last part of the parade. . . only on the Island That Rust Forgot!
