Topic: 2016 Sonoma: Mustang #280 Lives Up to the Mustang Reputation

He pushes his way in, then at 0:07 you hear him crunch our side mirrors; then he decides to turn in even though nobody else around him has; then he taps the car immediately to my inside; then he keeps it floored.

Thats a nice case of red haze there on the part of the Mustang driver.

Re: 2016 Sonoma: Mustang #280 Lives Up to the Mustang Reputation

While the thought had occured to me to reinstall side mirror housings as a sacrificial item even though I have already moved my mirrors inboard (let them crunch that vs. hitting my door/fender first), it doesn't look like crunching your side mirrors was enough to cause the mustang driver to back off. He went for it as you say, C&C style.

If side mirrors have already been removed, do not put them back! As someone that hooons crappy cars in other series, I have been hit by my own flying mirror more then once, they hurt !

I definitely saw that Mustang driving sketchy, including repeatedly hitting the same car multiple times in different turns attempting to pass.

Spinning and then ramming another car wasn't even enough to make the driver back off!  Hence the smokey donut.
