Re: Themes you'd like to see done
Occupy Car Seat!
Guess it's the sort of theme that would work best with a minivan that then entire team lives in during the race.

The Patchouli Stench & Drum Circle could create problems. And then there's the tear gas & riot police costumes, those ain't cheap you know.

Lemons...Not Economically Viable.
Has anyone done an Ali G theme yet?
The original was a Renault 5, but a Le Car or any small crapcan hatchback will do...
Costumes?
Get a 1980 Mercury Monach/Ford Granada and replace the marker lights with headlights....
...then crudely graft on the side markers, and add ornamentation from a 1977 LTD II...
Then ADD all the hood ornaments/emblems of the following...
1978 Chrysler Cordoba
1978 Plymouth Fury
1977 Chevy Chevelle
Or actually any combination of the above. Remove any traces aft of the A-pillar that would tip off what model it actually is, or cover with sheetmetal/sledgehammer work. Paint lime green with question marks all over it. When you sign up, refer to it as a "1977 Car".
Here's a good one for teams wanting to run two cars. 80's Dodge Diplomat & 80's Buick...
Theme? Short Time
Now THAT's a bad aero package.

I was not aware they made 1977 Lincoln Town Car Limos in Korea
I've been trying to score some cheap drogue chutes for a Lemons penalty, but maybe this aero package works better:

Nice.
An idea for the VW Rabbit/Golf teams out there:
The Atari Pole Position VW w/ the team dressed up as Muffy, Buffy, Biff, and Biff Jr.:

A big hand on top of the car would cap it off.
Bonus points for setting up an Atari in the pits for people to play.
Forget Gran Turismo, I'm going back to Poll Position!

I've been working on a "racing simulator" for the pits. unfortunately, the roof of my car has a 500 pound weight limit. I wonder what the new jeep is rated to haul on it's roofrack....
When are we gonna have 24 Hours of Lamaze?
When are we gonna have 24 Hours of Lamaze?
Win!!!
The great thing about the Lamaze theme is how easy it would be for some drivers.
There've been sightings of beer guts & man boobs reported at the warm weather races.
I did NOT need to see that guy in skin tight Nomex undies.
-Acura Legend of the Hidden Temple

Replace the rear bodywork with a functioning Olmec hooked to the brake lights!
-Subaru Outback steakhouse
Steaks grill on the header. Manager constantly asks judges if they are pleased with their performance.

If it's an actual van, sure. We've seen at least three A-Team themes on cars by now, so if you're thinking of getting a Mr. T costume and GMC logos on your RX-7, don't.
Yeah,
It takes a lot of beer to get through BS with the A Team theme!

Although I think I am starting to figure out what Jugde Johnny tastes are now. Only took 4 races to do so!
Just thought of a good team name for a malaise-mobile, especially for a team with a lot of inexperienced drivers and/or particularly lacking in mechanical skill:
A Crisis of Competence
No one? Really?
Also, has there ever been a Henry Rollins theme?
