Topic: Who Hates the New Forum Layout?

Garr!  It's teh internet!  I need to bitch and moan and complain! Because I put no effort into it, but someone else did, and they didn't do it the way I would have, so it SUXXX!  Who else thinks it SUXXX?  I know I'm not the only one!!  The new format is so much worse than the old one, they should have just left it alone.  I bet they did it to sell out, for some reason.  Sell Outs!

I'm with the If it works, don't fix it (ye olde phart) crowd and heartily resist change.
So far, this seems like one of the less painful forum 'upgrades' I've seen.
Generally takes me a just few minutes to truly hate some of the forums I visit, when they've upgraded.
Funny thing is, I think back about what put me off on those sites and can't recall a thing.
crs, or adapting..? I dunno.

Lets give it a few days and see how it shakes out.

I'll keep everyone updated via the announcement box at the top of the page. This is not the final layout. Only the one we are using while the other one is rewritten.

Seriously, I appreciate all of the hard work the forums admins are putting in and really appreciate having a place to BS about my favorite form of racing.  Good job, guys.  Attaboys all around.

I actually am having issues with the new layout, but as I seem to be the only one for whom it's actually unreadable, i suspect it's on my end.  Emailed the trackgeeks to see if they can straighten me out...

I'm also slightly off on the formatting, blame the widescreen more than anything to do with those working on the update.

The text being small he's been something I've never liked. I surf mostly on my phone, and it sucks on a small screen.

So I most often like to see who posts on a topic. Sadly I don't see names at the tops of posts so I can't pre judge the post based on who made it and I have to give each and every one a fair shot and consider that it may in fact have some insightful or valid information in it.

Can we fix this please? I want to be able to know who is saying what.

I'm not able to log in right now and the server folks are out of the office for Easter. Its going to be Monday before any more changes are made.

On one small victory I was able to get an "Active Posts" link on the top menu bar. hmm
