Topic: Red Mercedes rollover @summit day 1

Did anybody capture it?  I havent seen anything pop up on youtube yet.  We have heard from a lot of teams our driver was being waaay overly aggressive and this is the second time he's seriously wrecked the car. 

I would like to see some footage of the accident before we have a talk with him about his future on the team.  Also I'd like to apologize to anyone we may have pissed off during the race, some of us still have the spirit of lemons inside smile 

The car is most likely done for.

Sorry to hear about the car. It didn't look like a total loss when it came in on the roll-back.

Aren't drivers automatically banned from competition for one year after rolling over? Doesn't seem like much to discuss

6.3: Why Am I Upside-Down? Rule: You're upside-down because you have no business being out on a racetrack. Any driver who puts a car on its roof is out for the rest of the season, beginning immediately. Any car that rolls during a race will be removed from the race.

Second serious wreck, with one of them being a rollover?  What's there to talk about?

I wasn't aware of the part of the rule that states the driver is out for the season.  Was that recently added?

Been there since at least '09 when one of our drivers was sidelined.

We won the IOE at Southern Discomfort.
We got screwed at The Real Hoopties of New Jersey  and we took cars down with us.
We got the curse at Capitol Offense but they wouldn't let us destroy the car.

well, serious in the fact that it bent the front lower control arm to the point where it was unusable as well as destroyed a wheel and spindle.  we were in 7th overall at that point and were gaining when he stuck his nose inside a corner and got nailed.  sidelined for repairs for a bit, we got back out in 11th and ended up finishing 6th last year in Charlotte.

John, our driver was behind him when he rolled.  He mentioned several times how bad/agressive/douchebagerious the driving was....

He was by far, the most aggressive driver that I encountered.  After the second or third time of him four wheel drifting up to me in the corners, I pointed him by.  I wanted no piece of that, still glad everyone is ok though.
