Topic: The end....or the next chapter

Well, after much deliberation and reality/priority checks it's time for the Wartburg to move on to a new home.  I have some other things going on right now which, when I look at it realistically, mean I wont be able to touch her for at least another 2-4 years.  It kinda makes me sad to see her sit and deteriorate like that so I'd rather see her move on.

Included with the Wartburg, which is in "as raced" condtion from its trip to the Grassroots Motorsports Challenge in 2010 are all the parts I had collected for the next phase of the project

a set of 16x10 and 16x11 CCW Classics with tires
A full Subaru STi interior (blue and black)
A 2.0T WRX motor with wiring harness and ECU (no turbo and will probably need a valve job)
2 spare transmissions
A spare set of axles
A spare EJ22 engine
All the original drive train parts and the name of the man who wants to buy them.

The price IS NOT Lemony, it is not even GRM Challenge friendly.  But if you have a serious interest in owning a truly one of a kind car this may be just your thing.

Feel free to email me or PM if interested.

Trying to avoid the great part out but I will keep you posted if I change my mind.  They wouldn't be cheap though.

Aaaand off she goes sad

The CCWs did not sell with the car so if anyone is crazy enough to try them on their car contact me smile

She's going to be a HS shop project.  The good news is I have first right of refusal so in 2 years when it's complete I might just own it again.

Re: The end....or the next chapter

I can completely relate with the mixed feelings I'm sure you have about it...  hopefully the new owners enjoy it and treat it well.
