High temps are going down (mid 40's) and the chance of rain, although small (40%), is going up. 

Parka weather and waterproof boots.  Another miserable weather weekend racing Gingerman.

Luckily for us, we substituted a warm Barber race for the horrible Gingerman race.  The logic was, if we're going to race once in the spring, we might as well go where it's warm.

Hell, we've jinxed it so much who knows what'll happen.

BTW, that pic could've come straight from my back yard.  We had rain transition to sleet/snow.  Only an inch in our city but up to 3 in the forecast area.

I hate to break this to you, but the Metro ride will be postponed till July.  We won't be bringing it to Gingerman.  We have it running, but it isn't driving... or stopping... or racing... yet.

So we will have to start by sharing some booze with you.

So I will be bringing bacon in excessive amounts this weekend and need to know if anyone wants to place an order in advance. Price will be 30 per slab. With dad out of town, a more complicated easter meal is cancelled but will be running several grills and hopefully piling up the bacon as fast as it is eaten and accepting donations for the event charity.

You know you can count on me for one. I'll be there Friday and Saturday but heading home after the track goes cold Saturday. Easter with the family you know.

Why are we even speculating about this? The weather is going to be cold and wet and probably snowing. It is always so at the April Gingerman race.
