Re: The bands.

I have a love/hate relationship with these things. Mostly hate. Hate because I always forget them unless I can slip them off. Hate even more because they don't let you have scissors on planes because of the terrorists or whatever.

I spent an entire trip back from France with armbands I forgot and nothing to cut 'em off with. They were even the cloth ones that I couldn't just rip off. Thanks, Obama. I felt like a kid who WOOO FIRST TRIP TO ACL all day.

Re: The bands.

Forgot? Man up and rip them off, I've done it to a few miscreants.

Re: The bands.

Scissors?  Knife?  There is always a tab/tail on the inside of the wristband.  Reach in, pull and bob's your uncle.  Almost zero effort to remove.

OTOH, 57 days?  That's dedication to a cause of some sort.

Re: The bands.

Flip the band over at the seam, grab the tail and pull; it should come right off.  Same thing with those plastic bands on boxes/pallets/cases of copy paper.
