Topic: Selling Tow vehicle/RV/Home at the track...

Just like the lemon, have to sell the RV to move out of state.  If you are looking for a tow vehicle that you can work on yourself that will satisfy the requirements of potential lady friends then this is the RV for you.

This thing can pull enclosed  trailer with car and spares and hardly even know it's there.   Would love to see it stay in the racing community, come see it and make me an offer....

Ah, Class 12 memories, nothing like the sound of shearing spindles and VW motors running out of oil.

That is a beautiful rig and a reasonable price.  to bad it has a value more than 70% of my house.

I loved class 12.  The 200+ hours of prep wasn't as much fun but simple car and motor help get us to finish line more than once.  After 5 years we have lots of stories of breaking... like steering with the turn brake when the rack came apart during the race.  Had 6-8 miles back to pit so left turns were lots of fancy footwork and little help rotating from the turn brake.

Used to crew on class 1, 2 & 9 buggies in early 80's.  It was all sorta big budget Lemons racing back then.  I remember trying to fix a car in the trailer with the side door open in 100+ degree heat while being towed at 60mph down the highway as we moved it from the Arizona side to the CA side for the 2nd half of the race.  Cursing every time tools rolled out the door.  Also remember using come-alongs to strap the snapped off beam axle to the front of one so it could make it through the day.  Running out of diesel in the tow pig in the middle of Nowhere, Mexico and mixing 20/50 and Daeco to make our own dieselish stuff.

Off road racing is an all day car crash.

Anyway, nice rig.

Yeah, I miss desert racing (Class 12, 10, 16/2, 7200, LOORRS). The adventure (and terror) of Baja cannot be replicated in the U.S.

Then I remember an ex-girlfriend who would beat me up, take all my money and leave me stranded in a foreign country and I don't.
