Topic: Vodden 2016 Fast lap - #920 Risky Whiskey Racing

So-so race for our new team. After our old Auto Lemon Union E28 was sold we decided to build a second Miata (#921) with Vodden 2016 being its debut. It did well finishing 39th with no mechanicals or flags. #920 did not do so well. We had contact with an orange Datsun Z while in the lead on Saturday which put us out for 2 hours to repair front suspension. Did anyone get video of this? Our car shot a yard into the air after touching wheels and went into the embankment off the road in spectacular fashion. We went back out with still bent components only to be plagued by electrical issues the rest of the day. Fixed the electrical problem for Sunday where I got in a pretty clean 3:32.4 lap.

We got a good view of the Miata beached on the embankment from the penalty box. Jay and Phil enjoyed that. Glad to hear it was fixable.

Great lap, btw. What tires on the Miata?

We have the Metronome , metro with motorcycle motor
What motor you guys running in that thing ?

The Gnome is my favorite Lemons car! We are running an NA 1.8L Miata motor. Dyno chart is posted on our Facebook page so you're going to have to give us a like to see that smile
