Topic: Am I going to have to remove my back window?

Hey everyone, I need some advice or someone to drop some knowledge on me. I was looking at how to do the roll cage for my 86 Fiero and Trying to figure out the back-stays behind the driver. We could do a 45 degree angle from the cage to the shock towers but there's a flat window in the way. I'd really rather keep the window intact if at all possible. I know there are a few other cars that have flat windows right behind the driver and was hoping someone could tell me if there was a way/how I could go about putting a rollcage in the car without damaging or removing the back window. If anybody has any idea's let me know.

Can you use Lexan to make a new window?

Oh, for sure, I totally could. I was just hoping I wouldn't have to .

I think about the only way you could get around the rear window in a Fiero is to make the cage an "exo-skeleton".

That almost seems like more work.
