Speaking of sparking a light bulb, Why not just add an accusump to the engine via the oil filter. We have done this with a Accura engine.

I went and looked for a picture of the F4i engine and it has a standard spin on filter. Get a filter sandwich plate, block off the output port so that its a one port device and use an accusump on each engine. You want the post filter oil pressure to fill the Accusump and fill back to the engine.

Build a cheap accusup out of a 1 or 2 quart propane bottle which is hung upside down. use a big (1/2 -3/8) hose and fittings for max flow.
