That is correct. It is much, much easier to hide those cheaty-ass adjustable struts with paperwork than with, say, black tape. The team that went the black-tape route at Reno ended up paying the price.

Kudo's to the BS Judges at Reno... they actually got down on their hands and knees, or laid on the back in the dusty dirt, to look under my car and view the suspension mods I made (based on their suspicion that the tight suspension was due to cheater parts).  Once they saw the mods, one Judge described my handiwork as "excellent moonshine runnin' suspension." 

You will NEVER find any cheater parts on a Team 31 car.  Creative... yes; cheater... no.
