Topic: Themifying The White Lightning RX-7

On another thread E-Speed asked for theme ideas, so I figured I'd take a stab at it.  I decided to take the white lightning idea and tweak it a bit, since adult beverages endear themselves to the judges.  They also dig the word "hoon", so I'd consider changing the team name to "Team Hoonshine"  or "The Hoonrunners", or something to that effect.

Next, changes to the car itself.  This includes painting the car up to resemble a little brown jug(pics below), changing the number to 30(as in roman numeral XXX) and adding a replica of a still.

Alternatively, to take the idea to the next level make it a working still and convert the engine to run on ethanol.  There's your dangerous tech award right there!

Not sure if anyone has done this yet, but it is an "RX" 7 .

Team pharmacists in white coats, maybe a chemistry set in the trunk.

And it's kinda pointy at the front so the car lends itself to being done up like a giant suppository that's trying to run up those asshole drivers in front of it.

Maybe put a bloodpressure arm cuff on the door armrest of the car, a "take a number" ticket wheel, assortment of pharmaceuticals spilling from the interior...

i like both of these themes . maybe we could built another car and do both themes . is the cost of the theme included in the  $ 500.00 ?  i would hope not.  gasguy/fender lizard for white lighting , ralph

I think technically it does, but if it doesn't enhance the car's performance the Judges look the other way.

Why do we want to help people themify RX-7s, turbo Supras, turbo Porsches, Spec Miatas or BMWs?  After running the Lamest Day, I'd rather see more actual $500 cars & racing parade floats entered, leaving the people who don't get Lemons with their cars parked behind the raceshop & at the end of a waitlist....  That would make checking the box "No one deserves the curse this time" a lot easier & the top vote getters might actually be for bad driving.  my two cents...
