We used destroyer chassis in Kennedale. His prices were incredibly reasonable. Even built us a nice seat bracket using the sliders we supplied in case we ever had a tall driver. Only adjustment was the shoulder bar, as it was around 22 degrees, so we had it adjusted to be within the rule.

regarding the harness bar: Don't compare it to the slot in the seat-- put a driver in the seat. Often times the shoulders are higher than the slot in the seat.

And the recommendation for shoulder belt angle from many belt manufacturers is 0 (horizontal) to 15 degrees below horizontal

FIA Article 253-42 is slightly different

Good tip on measuring! Our angle was too much without someone in the seat at all. It would have only gotten worse if someone's shoulder was higher than the lowest part of the slot.
