Topic: 2010 Schedule ? How long are the races?

Can anyone tell me how long the races are on the 2020 schedule?

Will they all be the same length?  X hours over 2 days ?

Or will there be a REAL 24 race on the schedule?

PS - who wants to start a 'bring back the Lamest Day' drive?

Remember, it's never too early to start embellishing the past.

"so there I was, 90mph, sideways on the brink of death ..."

From the looks of the schedule, only the Reno race is a true 24.  It says it in the event title.  As far as Nelson goes, I think we all agree that the Lamest Day should have been on the schedule, but it is what it is.  All we can do is hope it comes back in 2011.  We have two races at our local Michigan track, but I'd rather drive the extra distance to Nelson and only have one 24 hour race.

I would almost guess that Palm Beach (Moroso) is a 24 hour race at the end of the year also.... at least that's what the race name implies...

Yeah, I thought that one might be as well based on the name.  As far as I know, there is no quiet time there since they have late night drag racing.

I like your forward thinking  but the schedule for 2020 is not out yet, but next years is.
The races vary based on time of year,(sun-up sun-down) noise ordinance rules for surrounding areas, length of track, and a host of other things. I would even think the the judges might decide some races based on how they feel when they get up in the morning.:D  I know here in Utah the noise ordinance is enforced at 10pm. My wife tells me I'm too loud and to go to bed right at 10:00pm.

If your lucky enough to get into the 24 hour Reno race you will be in for a treat. The track is awesome and probably pretty "hairy" in the dark. IMO
