We finished day one. The K car ran strong all day. Ran through a little oil but nothing to bad. The guys at White Trash Racing gave us some used Direzza's and it handled surprisingly well. The only issue we ran into was after the race we pulled off the right front tires and that brake was messed up. The caliper was crooked and the pads were trashed. Gonna slap some new ones on in the morning and see what happens.

Car is running and rather well at the moment all we have burned thru is a pretty set of brake pads that is going on the trophy with one hell of a story.

I may also add that the K-Car visited the Penalty Box exactly none times all weekend. Slow and super-clean driving.

The CRD libby didn't asplode, stopped at my cousins house to pick up dads old motorcycle, and made it back to PA a little bit ago. the only regret I have participating in this ill-advised adventure; I never got to drive the K car in to work.... Hopefully I'll have some gopro footage uploaded soon, although I suggest someone either buy a spare battery/charger, and another microSD card, so you can film the whole race. Please don't just drill a hole in the waterproof case to plug in a charger, unless you plan on buying a replacement.
