Topic: A bit of in-car video from Reno-Fernley

I conned the Mustard Yellow Volvo guys into letting me install a cheapo bullet cam in the grille and a DXG-521 DVR in the car at the Goin' For Broken race. Here's a bit of video from Sunday, demonstrating V8 torque (Ford 302-powered 244) versus turbo horsepower (B23 Turbo-powered 242) in a Volvo-on-Volvo duel.

Here's another one, which features some nice footage of the Size Matters '67 Fury and Old Farts Racing '64 Skylark in action.

Re: A bit of in-car video from Reno-Fernley

We so lucked out that they ended Saturday 10 minutes early, it died as soon as it got off the track and we had to push it back to the pits.  As it came by the last time before the checkered came out I turned to our mechanic next to me and we both said "it's not making another lap".

The condensor actually went out and fused the points, luckily they had one at the local parts store and it ran flawless on Sunday.

I like how the volvo passes everyone at the end of the video...with the yellow flag waving!

This is great footage of the Team StimPack car as we pass the volvos at ~45 seconds in and the camera follow us all up the hill climb.  We don't have any of our own footage so this is great!  I'll be scouring all the posts to see what we can find!
