Topic: Residual value on a raced Lemon?

We learned a lot of lessons up in Reno about Lemons racing, most importantly the lesson of keeping your paperwork in order. We were assessed a 6 lap penalty which I assume means that the Judges determined we had a $560 car. Somewhere I am sure that I read that we should have gotten a residual value of the car at the end of the race, somewhere between $1-$499, but we never did.

We only completed 81 laps, placed 82/102 overall, 28/35 in class. Not exactly what I'd say a competitive car, but it was our first race and we had mechanical issues that kept us out Saturday.

Any way to get a residual value of our heap?

While we were labeled Bribed in the first race, our car appreciated slightly after the first race.

The truth may not set you free in Lemons.  Some deals, even when documented, are hard to believe.

Less than a week from our Judgement day and I can't find my file of reciepts.  This could be a problem.

Follow Nick's instructions and you should be in good shape.
