Topic: Anybody used the Toyo Proxes T1R

Has anyone used the Toyo Proxes T1R for crap can racing? In the rain? Comments, results, downsides (other than its a 280AA treadwear tire)

We raced on T1Rs 2008-2010. Our size was discontinued.

They were okay and held up well.

I did not know they still made them.

I used to race with T1Rs.  They are good for a while, but get really slick by the end of Saturday.  I still have some, and use them as back up tires.  I'm racing on Nitto Neo Gens now.  They have alot more grip and don't get slick by the end of the day.

From BMW guys I hear they wear out too quickly.  But there are many factors, car weight, temps and suspension setup not to mention driver technique track compound.
