Topic: NJMP Who is in? Who is going amphibious?

Looks like about 135 eager souls have been offered the opportunity to cough up the coinage. After last year we highly considered an amphibious vehicle that could cross the pond between 3 and 4, but it looks like the Scooby Doobies will just take our chances with the AWD Audi...

We’re in with the usual 4.  If rain is in the forecast we are getting a wire defroster for the Civic, man does it ever fog up, worse than the other cars for some reason. 

We still haven’t even taken any of the cars out of storage.  Yesterday it snowed a foot.  Yay.

Don't worry, the saab probably won't make it out of storage until the week before the race. It's in a tent in Dad's back yard, which is snow covered and turns to marsh in the spring. It'll be a feat getting it to the driveway.

The Thunderstang suffered severe windshield fogging last year, even with Rain-x anti-fog.  I knew it was time to come in when your truck passed me. 

I installed one of those wire defrosters before the next event.  I was happy that we were also changing windshields.  It was enough of a pain with the windshield on workhorses.  The instruction sheet was 8-10 pages, and every page had something in bold text saying, "You must do it this way or it will not work".

Oh, and Dumb as a Brick made the invite list.

It'll be the Perfectly Strange 5.0 #933 Yellow Submarine :-) With 3 of 4 Returning Crew The 4th for this year is a Ice Racer from Way Up North. If it's not falling water it's frozen water in our camp LOL....

The Purple Delsol will be making the journey down from Maine...just cleaned out the cobwebs and aired up the tires last night.

Keep an eye out for the adult tricycle with the "Rum Punch Tower" on the rear basket making rounds in the paddock...we will be trading drinks for wave-bys on the track (or maybe pushes back to the paddock...)

Team Pro Crash Duh Nation (#26) will be there after 2 years of missing the NJMP race. We will also be doing our obligatory Pasta Feed on Saturday night. We are low on crew and drivers for this event so the Pasta Feed will be a bit smaller this time, that means we will only feed 200 or so hungry guests.

If your car is not so blowed up after Saturdays race session we could definitely use some help getting Chef Franks food on the table so come on by and we promise to break out the Peronis - and you will get to be on the VIP side of the serving line.

Is there a track charity at NJMP or is Alex's Lemonade stand represented?

The Science Project will be there with our two Black and White Integras. We removed the cold-air intake so hopefully we can avoid a repeat hydrolock situation should it rain again.

Hello.  I'm a driver for one of the teams.  I'm staying at the Quality Inn & Suites Millville but won't have a car.  Is anyone else is staying at this hotel or nearby with whom I could catch a ride to/from the track?  Thank you.
