Topic: April CMP, Who's Going?

It's time.................

Duff Beer will be there with a Smoked Porter and a Dubbel.

We'll bring a car too for the car stuff, probably the Mercedes diesel. I may also attempt to drive the electric race car to the event again, just to test out our fancy new BMW i3 batteries. Last time it took me 16 hours to go 168 miles. I'd like to halve that time.

Boondoggle racing will be there with a super cheaty GTI VW wink Actually I paired up with a first time noob team so this should be interesting. They built the car for a different series so i expect laps will be given generously. Anyway, were looking forward to a great time, CMP never dissapoints. I'd love to try that smoked Porter Hint Hint

Our car is currently missing it's engine and transmission at the moment, so I'll be driving with The Silver Bullets in their 580SX for this race.  Fast car, but it's present MPG figure is only about 4 light poles per gallon.  Is it legal to tow a fuel trailer during the race?  wink

Our team won't make it to the spring race this year, life happened for 3 out of 4 team members, but we'll be back at the fall race.

We don't have the car yet, sent it out to rallycross with some friends and it hasn't come back. The beer is kegged though, and I've done a whole lot of work on the Electrica. So I'll arrive in style and have plenty of good beer to drink.

Sooooo are there any good Social events happening Friday, Saturday night in the paddock? I mean other than the complete car rebuilds form Saturdays races. I do plan on coming by to sample some Duff beer if we arent to busy wrenching on the car.

First would anyone have gear for rent. 1 team member waited till the last minute an will not get his gear on time? Helmet,gloves an shoes. Also the red 44 monte carlo will be there

There is only one Duff Beer team that we know of of here at the Duff Beer World Headquarters for Global Domination North American Center of Excellence for Racing Domination Campus Complex.

Here is a picture of the Duff Beer Mobile Oppression Palace leaving earlier today for CMP. To the best of our knowledge this is the only one that we have deployed this weekend
