I don't think any of us are defending that...some (including me though I have not expressed it) are defending blocking enough spots for the 5 teams that work together and take up 4 paddock spaces but only one team can show up at Joliet at 3 PM Thursday (for example).

If Autobahn ran the paddock like Gingerman, that would help (driving direction rule).  Otherwise, Jay doesn’t give a ______ who wins.  So premium space parking isn’t going to be policed by Lemons.  Having said that, giving each team a paddock space card to hang would fix this if the track actually had paddock spaces marked and policed it.  Essentially, think of camping spaces.   Would work, just is a hassle for a track to police it.  Otherwise... jerks will be jerks.
