How many number 27s are there. Apparently there's another one who entered the CO race. Really screws with my whole theam. You know "the 27 club racers."

Ideas for alternative options for when I'm to late to claim my number?

Just slap a 1 infront of it and register earlier if your number is vital to a theme.

Add a 1 before or after the 27.

Losing my number is my biggest fear.

Happened to us a few years ago as well.  I reached out to Nick Pon and he got me in touch with the team.  It wasn't a part of their theme, but was ours, so they parted with it easily.  Offers of beer or food at the track in consideration can't hurt either.
