Topic: New seat belts - need a link please

My search-fu is failing me - a short while back some folks were talking belts and I remember someone posted a very nice set of belts with a camlock and the lap belts tightened from the cam down versus from the seat base up, which seems like a much easier way to do this. Does anyone remember a make/model please? No huge rush, but I need to get them for the November race.

Thanks,
Toni

That's a lot of diffrent harness. You can order them many ways.

I would recommend http://www.crowenterprizes.com/Pages/Dr … aints.html

Order them exactly how you want/need. Pull up, pull down, 3" or 2", or "HANS" dog bone shoulder straps, clip in or bolt in etc.

They adjust well, and have good recertification costs.

+1 to this. I ordered my harness from Crow last week, it got here yesterday and looks great. I got a 3" belt necked down to 2" for HANS (i.e. dog bone style), pull up style, long belts, cam lock with eye bolts and clips for like $280 including shipping... and they are SFI rated and appear to be around $60 to re-certify. The website is great, as you can pick your options however you want with drop downs.

Thanks! I contacted their customer service with a question and received a prompt answer, plus they sell purple belts! :-)

I will be placing an order with them this weekend, then I need to start looking for lighting solutions - I hope I'll have regained my search-fu by then ...

There are no lighting solutions, only hopes.

Safecraft Racing 5010 series.  The magic here is that the lap adjusters are built into the camlock tangs.

Also available from various online retailers.
