Topic: Hoctober at NHMS. You in?

Don't want to jinx things but when I look at my registration page it says accepted?  Does that mean we are accepted or is a cruel trick by others to squash our teams enthusiasm?

That's legit, emails from HQ went out as well.

Did they? I saw the garage/hotel one, but I have not seen the normal "You're In!" email with payment dates and the like.

Oh, maybe that's what I was thinking of, must have been mistaken.

It's pretty common for the registration page to show accepted prior to the official email going out.

Yea, I know the email usually lags the website a little, but not usually by more than a day or two. I emailed Nick on Friday and he said they were having issues with the automated mailing stuff.

And now it will snow...

Honestly the rain has been some of the most fun we've had, we're totally ok with more of it. And whoever was driving your vette in the worst of it in CT was dealing with it quite nicely.

Re: Hoctober at NHMS. You in?

This is going to be 3PMs weakest showing in years.  Only the Cressida and RX3.8    The Honda is super blowed up again, the 300ZX won’t be done, and we sold the Hombre to another team to finance the other two builds.

Chrissy can’t make this one for work, I’m running with Tom Lomino, and Jeff and Jim are still looking for a ride, so if you have a seat or 2 open and have  a decent car and would like some veteran drivers, let us know.

At least we will still bring the hot tub.

Re: Hoctober at NHMS. You in?

Does anyone know what's up with garages at NHIS? I hesitate to send an email and ask because I don't want the price to go up :-)

lord knows we'll need one...  At Thompson we had to swap the transmission (which for Lemons, I know, is light weight, but the garage was nice)

The email said there would be something on the web page when the team is paid up - we're paid up but no button has appeared.

this time we'll bring *two* transmissions :-)

Re: Hoctober at NHMS. You in?

Hey guys, I know that I am not going to be up there in the RUSEFI Miata, let a lot of people know that Jo and I would probably not make it unfortunately. I'm still going balls to the wall with getting the chalkboard ready for NJMP next year. We are however pushing really hard to get the Chalkboard up to Loudon for test day. We have run into a road block and I'm reaching out to see If anyone can help us get this cage into the car. We are in Stamford, CT. Would appreciate any help from everyone or anyone.

Mike, there is a slight chance I may be able to make it and race, but doubtful. I'll give both you and Yuri a heads up if possible.

This gets asked many times each year. Sometime this week, now that the payment deadline is over, Nick will send an email saying garages are available. Log into your account, edit your entry details to include a garage (the button will appear after his email), and pay the extra garage money. The email you're refering to does say "stay tuned for the next announcement".

If we were running with 3 I'd offer up a seat, but I think we'll be back to 4 for October. If my sister ends up not being able to race (back injury is what kept her from being there at CT), and you haven't found a seat I will let you know.

Re: Hoctober at NHMS. You in?

Yep Farfrumwinnin will be there with the Golf and a special guest appearance from the Don of the 3 Pedal Mafia, Chris.

New brake rotors and wheelbearings are on the menu so we don't have any failures like at CT.  That means we will just blow something up thats way more expensive.
