Need transit between LA and SF Christmas 2018

A long term sputniker (me) needs to get from LA to SF between Christmas and New Year's.  I'd prefer to ride, but renting a motorcycle seems to be way too expensive or impossible due to the dates.  Does anyone have a motorcycle or car that needs to get from LA to San Francisco between Christmas and New Years?
