Topic: Nomex(?) Belt for 2-piece suit

I bought a second hand two-piece suit from RacinRob a while back. At the present, the pants are a bit big for my 32" waist. They have belt-loops, but I can't for the life of me find the right keywords to google me up a belt for them.(I cant filter though all the results for harnesses) Is there a specific fire-resistant belt for a racing suit or is a standard leather belt acceptable?

Re: Nomex(?) Belt for 2-piece suit

I would think you have a couple options......

1)  Nomex thread and a seamstress/tailor...
2)  Search on EBay for a used NASCAR racing radio belt....I would think that the belts they use would be SFI rated,no?

You can spend the money on Nomex if you want, but Lemons doesn't require belts for the racing suit and leather is flameproof.

Leather shrinks in a fire.
