Will somebody finally race this and answer the question of how good the Jag V8 works for our kind of racing?

I think the overall effect of this platform on a track would be disconcerting to drive. We ran ours on the first Lemons rally, it continues to serve faithfully, but although the handling is surprisingly good for such a big sedan, the controls are light and the engine is damn near silent. Like I say, disconcerting....

My x350 XJ8 is still sitting at the repair shop.  They (and I) have given up on it.  Runs for 15 seconds and shuts off.  If a team takes and cages it, all I want is a seat for a race.
