Re: Thompson Potluck

Thompson has a weird schedule where we race until 6:30pm, so there is less time to get settled and then get the potluck setup and running. I assume that is why they moved it to friday.

We'll bring a Pizza that's only 3/4 eaten, some snack sized unopened bags of chips, and 1.5 containers of potato salad.

Just kidding, I'll talk to the resident creative cook and see what we can figure out. I don't think he's up for 200 dumplings again.

Re: Thompson Potluck

Yup, the late running Saturday means that by the time the race was done, everyone would be working on their cars and whatnot and we would be eating really late.  Moving to Friday seemed like the way to allow for the most people to participate and to not eat really late.

Re: Thompson Potluck

We're going to be a late decision on if we're coming to the potluck, so I can't sign up early, sorry.

Car isn't ready and I'm coming up against a huge work deadline 2 days before the race, so we're going to likely have a long long friday at the track. Which might not leave tons of time to prep anything. We'll see. If we think we can prep something worth enough, we'll come, if not we don't want to mooch. (and very well may just want to go pass out in an AC'd hotel room).

In the time I've needed to be working on the last race prep I have instead been hand assembling almost 50 PCBs, building device enclosures, building physical rooms, and fixing design mistakes on products. Startups are fun.

Re: Thompson Potluck

Kenny from Hack Factory. We're gonna bring 2 maybe 3 bags of party wings that I'm going to grill. Paper plates, plastic utensils and a plastic folding table.

Re: Thompson Potluck

Hey yall OCP racing team here

Looking forward to the party. I’m thinking we’re  grill up some bratwurst to bring with sauerkraut, rolls, maybe some kind of chips and dips too. Let’s see what we find at the food store
