Topic: Unique Drivetrain for sale to a local(ish) Lemons team, South GA, $100

Ok, very very VERY long story short, racing in Lemons had been a bucket list item for me for years. However, life circumstances and financial constraints have forced me to finally lay that idea to rest.

**FOR ANY CURRENT OR PROSPECTIVE Lemons TEAMS IN OR NEAR SOUTH GEORGIA**

Selling a drivetrain. Comes with engine and transmission. Also a second transmission (one that had been acquired far cheaper, but, thats apples to oranges now). Big package deal. Comes with a couple 15in 5x4.5 steelies, couple of mufflers, and other stuff that I am likely forgetting about. Also a couple of turbochargers I got in a sketchy backlot trunk-sale from a dubious Volkswagon dealer.

*As far as I know, no Lemons vehicle has yet to achieve total domination with this engine. Or maybe even brought a vehicle with one.

*Engine also has a very interesting backstory behind it. Was on television. Can provide some modicum of proof to substantiate that claim.

Idk. $100? Just need this stuff out of the barn. Can provide pictures later. I work Mon-Fri 6-6, so, please bear with my schedule.

Okay, the most obvious question is what engine/transmission? Air-cooled VW?

Well, my evil and devious master plan had been to push/roll the vehicle into tech inspection, and, before popping the hood, exclaiming it was "powered by a modern, high-performance, overhead cam straight 6 engine".
Upon opening it up, they would see...
...a Kaiser Tornado 230.

It is currently bolted to a T96 gearbox, but I also have a 3spd Saginaw with the lot. This is the 24v military engine but, the kicker here, I have the 12v civvie distributor for it as well as a 6v Continental 226 starter I got for cheap because the Bendix was not operating (returning) correctly. Was going to repair that before it got mothballed.

I am well aware of the fact this driveline can be parted out for many times the value of what I am asking. But in respect to the fella I bought it from and in the spirit of the purpose of buying it, i would like to see it fulfill its destiny of Lemons glory.

Longitudinal.

Also have half a dozen decent radiators, two shifter assemblies, various gauges, and a boxload of other parts to go with the engine. Would make an excellent starter-pack for a team building their first car.

Put it into a 350z, and maybe win I.O.E.

Then we're _all_ winners
