Topic: Why hasn't anyone done a Duke Of New York theme yet?

All you need is a late-70s Cadillac and a couple of chandeliers- easy! Remember, Isaac Hayes played the Duke in Escape From New York. You're the Duke Of New York! You're A Number One!

I've always assumed late 70's Cadillacs were a couple tons above the weight limit.

...and wouldn't turn on the track...and would burn through brakes...and would consume gas at an alarming rate...

We won the IOE at Southern Discomfort.
We got screwed at The Real Hoopties of New Jersey  and we took cars down with us.
We got the curse at Capitol Offense but they wouldn't let us destroy the car.

would you have to tape over all the glass on the chandeliers?  that might be pain

Re: Why hasn't anyone done a Duke Of New York theme yet?

also would the chandliers be considered a distration if done at the lamest day.

The late 70s Seville was based on the Nova, so weight limits are no problem. You can buy plastic chandeliers.

You'll need a disco ball inside the car, too.

Re: Why hasn't anyone done a Duke Of New York theme yet?

The discoball could be used as a crude G meter.  All you need is a few fixed scales and a pointer on the ball!
