Topic: Rear Camber?

For those of you with IRS, do you run any rear camber? if so do you run a ton or a little? how did it affect handling and tire wear, and what tracks? not asking for all your secret setups but we have a large car with Independent rear suspension that we're running aside from the Pirat Vic and just want to know if it would be a better idea to set everything to ZERO and leave it alone, or tweak for great justice.

Re: Rear Camber?

I run negative 2 degrees in the rear of my old 911, works great.  Some of my other friend run 1.5 degrees, others have tried going over 2 without much better results.  Hope this helps.

Re: Rear Camber?

Check how the suspension articulates....zero to 1 degree negative at max body roll always worked for me..if you're bushings are Lemons standard, i.e. shot, it might not matter much

Re: Rear Camber?

We have negative rear camber but it is due to the lowering of the car.

I may make some adjustable stuff for the rear but it's a lot of work and I am not currently that motivated.

Re: Rear Camber?

Toe kills tires, not camber.  That said, I would shoot for -1° or a lil more.
