Tell me it's not a Viper shell o_O
If that is a Viper shell, then your solution has to have 10 cylinders. Maybe this is why you gravitated towards the Triton V10, but I can see why you were instantly voted down on this.
I'm envisioning a pair of 80s Audi I5s.

Slant Six, PLUS a 22R. Boom! 10 cylinders.
...followed shortly by Boom! 9 cylinders...
...then Boom! 8 cylinders... etc. etc.
Rotaries are great, everyone should try them.
Re: The Lemons Supercar
I'm a little apprehensive about this being in Lemons, and I can't believe there's finally a car I'm saying that for.

Re: The Lemons Supercar
Wow, with the number of $500 car my a$s!!11!!!!one!!!! comments the Rolls got, this is going to get some serious hate from the internet "car experts". The Lemons faithful will love it!!!
Rock on, Viper.
I change my previous suggestion for a V12. This thing needs to bring Phil some joy, and finally be the first to swap in an Iron Duke.

I test drove a viper a few years back. It's was terrible, like a fox body mustang. And it had the same radio as my pickup.

Re: The Lemons Supercar
Guess what? I lied. The Viper is nice, but not for me or Lemons. The Viper is too domestic and too mass produced. The Supercar is one of 4444 total production.
