Topic: Isn't this car wonderful???

This is a car that a guy had made for his GIANT RV, fit underneath...

It is a Ford Festiva (Kia Pride/Mazda 121) shortened, lowered, and top chopped off obviously..

I wanted it SO badly..

Man, cage it, and tell me it wouldn't be instant IOE......

No, no it's not.
Have you considered seeking help from the nice gentlemen in the white coats?

Totally sweet.  Ronman is on crack.  I'd love to commute in that thing, at least once.

Make your own!  And put the BIGGEST wheels on it that you possibly can...

Re: Isn't this car wonderful???

I remember reading about that thing. basically it has no suspension, so it's REALLY bad to drive for more than a short distance. chopped up specifically so it'd shoehorn itself under an RV iirc...

Re: Isn't this car wonderful???

I don't see why this couldn't be made into a Lemons car.

I just have to say the twitching eyebrow is kind of disturbing.

Reminds me of the old VW bugs chopped down in a similar fashion.  Very interesting.

Until the scooby van ran it over.... even with a cage it'll be a twisted pile of mild steel and body parts.

And one of our Team Bean drivers has a shortened Mini Moke! Talk about SCARY!

Personally, I want to make one to look like this and then enter it in Lemons: Team Snow White and 7 Dwarfs Long Haul Trucking...

Re: Isn't this car wonderful???

Seems like it would have been faster to stick Festiva bodywork on a golf cart

The rules prohibit chopped, bobbed shortened cars.
If not for that, we would be running my MR2 known as "stubby". The body ends at the wheels at either end/ It allows you to get it on and off the trailer very easily, even when it is slammed low.
