Topic: ACCEPTED: Chubba Cheddar Enduro

Well, looks like the K car has been accepted, now just need to find more drivers.

Who else is going?

Fourteen time loser. You'd think I'd know better by now.

I'll be there with 'Sir Jackie Stewart's Coin Purse' team in another Class C contender- and I will be driving it at Thunderhill in September...

Send me an invite code, maybe Sophie will finally get to actually drive it!

we didn't have any noticeable brake wear concerns. did flat spot a tire when ball joint decided it didn't want to be a balljoint anymore.

Re: ACCEPTED: Chubba Cheddar Enduro

It didn't seem much different than autobahn for us.  We did use atleast an gallon more an hour than we do at Autobahn when we were running full out,  and the left side tires took a bit of a beating going through the carousel.

I'm not sure any of us can predict how it could be this year.... Tires usually last longer on ice... smile

I think rain is more likely but yeah rain does seem to save tires and brakes also.

Re: ACCEPTED: Chubba Cheddar Enduro

I was getting worried as ours still is, every email I get my heart jumps as my team is so excited to try it out. We have all purchased our licenses and car is 99% ready less the flair of theme

Re: ACCEPTED: Chubba Cheddar Enduro

The Unified Partnership of Pentastar Racers will be there in support of Mopar domination with our Plymouth Duster.

New cylinder heads should hopefully have 100% less cracks. We are also thinking about modifying our rear suspension by taking swimming pool diving board out and replacing it with some sort of setup that actually has dampening characteristics.

Also, I believe the 555 camo Focus will be there as well since we usually partner up in the pits.

Wait a tick you guys make friends in the pits to team up to gain rank. Dear infant baby Jesus we are doomed

Re: ACCEPTED: Chubba Cheddar Enduro

Double the team effort, double the failure!!

Actually, we had enough interested drivers that we made a second team (the Sundance Duster)

Re: ACCEPTED: Chubba Cheddar Enduro

We are accepted. Now just have to find out if the project car we are planning on project-ing is going to show up here to start work or not...

Re: ACCEPTED: Chubba Cheddar Enduro

Most of the teaming up is more for food and booze sharing, maybe the occasional tool borrowing, but honestly I've never seen anyone have problems with sharing any of that with the other teams.

Maybe, maybe. We have a "project car" that we were told was being dropped in our laps, and it would be a first-of-its-kind in Lemons. So the plan was to race that up there. But now they've flaked 2 Sundays in a row and I'm starting to get concerned that maybe they are just flaking out, period. In which case, we'd need to re-evaluate everything. We'd have to get the MR1000 through the Houston race in running shape before I'd pay for RA.
