Snell SA2005 Helmets Get 1-Year Reprieve
Traditionally, helmets get phased out ten years after the Snell date, meaning SA2005s wouldn't be legal in 2016. But so far, helmet makers have proven astoundingly slow to get SA2015s out in volume. As a result, we're giving you one extra season--sound, undamaged SA2005s will now be accepted (with stern advice to upgrade ASAP!) through January 2017. Just remember, the SA2015 spec brings major safety improvements. We very strongly advise you to get one as soon as possible

I just ordered a sub $200 SA2015.  We have a neck restraint.

Re: SA2015 Helmets

What is it and what size did you order? I guess you haven't gotten it yet, so when you do, please report on it, plus it's oval/round-ness.

Re: SA2015 Helmets

Reviving this threads the SA 2020s are out and I'm shopping for a 2015 to replace my 2010.

Looking for feedback on the head shape and true to fit for Zamp.

My current helmet XL Impact Super Charger is my point of reference and fits my head shape.

Re: SA2015 Helmets

I have a 2010 Zamp and love the fit. I wear an XL helmet. My head is a little longer from front to back than most my size and some XLs in other brands don't fit well, but the Zamp does. I'm shopping for a 2015 Zamp, too.
