I'm stationed at the center of hell IE bakersfield. Not sure if I can make the whole rally, but I intent to fire up my street legal Lemons hooptie and meet the group if there's a bakersfield stop.
In addition I'd like to offer my support to any teams that get stranded out here. typical 2 car garage, basic tools, (not all harbor freight junk) crappy welders etc.
Couch if you get stranded over night.

The Best Western Plus on Truxton Ave is listed as HQ hotel for the Bakersfield stop, and it's where I reserved. I'd think that would be the easiest spot to catch raLly miscreants.
ah, where is everyone convening? may I suggest one of our local micro/nano breweries. Dionysus brewing would suite the group well... it's small, and it's located within a auto garage complex. roll up doors etc. and your choice of unique sours, IPA's and porters.

Sounds like fun, but any of these close to the hotel? That would be a useful data point, I really like to drive, and to drink good beer, but not both
4 miles roughly. There is however one of those newfangled serve yourself bars with 50+ beers on tap less than a mile away. "Craft beer tap house". Their selection is pretty good, food ain't bad either
