Would this be considered "offensive to gullwing guys" or would it make you a "gullwing guy"? or both?

Re: Would this be considered "offensive"

It would make the driver a hero to all. Be sure to mount it on the oldest available Beetle pan in order to maximize the points total. Too bad about the broken windshield, as it is unique to that car and these days replacements are pretty much unobtainable. The obvious solution, therefore, is a pair of Brooklands screens.

Re: Would this be considered "offensive"

I would consider this to be a heroic body choice as well. I believe the Bradley (oops not Bricklin) body waiver is $150. Or damn well should be.

There is another one of these rotting into the ground on the NH seacoast.  It might have an intact windshield. I'll check the next time I go by.

If that one turns out to be a first-generation Bradley GT, then its windshield is from a 1963-67 Corvette coupe. It's only the GTII (or, as it is sometimes styled, GT2) like the one above that has its very own design which interchanges with nothing.

I like how the guy suggests using it as a 4x4.

I'd pay to see that.

Re: Would this be considered "offensive"

So, I went and bought it yesterday. At $125 I couldn't pass it up. I'm thinking all the glass will be lexan as none of it is any good. Now I need to find a pan/ motor/ transaxle for it, going to go visit my local air cooled VW hoarder soon. This won't make the rally this year but next year it will.
