Topic: Update on Team Sucker Punch
Hello again everyone.
First the important stuff.
Mike was released from the hospital yesterday, doing OK, in a bit of pain (duh!) but he is into the next step of healing. Honestly I think just getting him out of the hospital will do wonders for his mindset at this point.
Yesterday we went back to Road America and stripped the few good parts off the Camaro, and said our goodbyes. The track was very understanding and helpful to us.
Now the not so important stuff...
We have a new car! TONS of people pitched in and helped out, offering up leads on various cars that would be good ("good") candidates for our next racer. Today we found our next slice of lemony goodness, the next time you see Team sucker punch it will be in....
a 1984 Corvette!!
Pictures will follow soon, but to be honest the SMELL would be a better way to show all of you that YES, you can get a crossfire Corvette that is Lemony fresh...."fresh". Dead mice, mold, burning oil, and a fuel leak. I made a Camaro into a reliable Lemons racer, I wanted something a bit more difficult this time.
Besides...what could possibly go wrong?
