Time to employ some rally car technology. They put bracing through the engine bay (among other places.) Most Lemons (and associated orgs) cages have nothing additional forward of the A pillar. We rely on the factory crash structures which aren't all that robust in a 100+mph impact. (esp. when the 87 factory airbags have been removed)

Sorry to hear about that.  I'm glad your driver is out of the hospital and I hope he recovers quickly and completely.  As for the car, may she rest in pieces.  I'll miss seeing it on track.
