Why is your radio button on the roof?  Seems like an odd place for sure.

Re: Road Atlanta Sunday

The button on the steering wheel wasn't reliable, I think it needs a new battery. So we were using the inline back up.

It's on the roof because the radio is above the mirror which gets the wires out of the way.

Hmmm....my radio is beside the tunnel, and the the TX button is on the e-brake handle.  No wires in the way.

The other car is like that too.

We have a passenger seat so I try to keep that clear.

We like the radio above the mirror because it's easy to see and adjust volume. It does make some other things difficult.

Re: Road Atlanta Sunday

We never fool with the volume.  We talk so infrequently it doesn't matter.  I think I only made five transmissions during my Sunday morning stint.   My last was "I think Troy's car DBU'd".  That's redneck speak for "Done Blowed Up!"  wink

Re: Road Atlanta Sunday

You got the Kompressor's door swinging open at 00:16:00. That's excellent.

Edit: And their teammate's impressive transmission-fluid burning.
