Topic: NOLA 2018 Layout

Anyone know what the layout/direction will be for NOLA? Would like to familiarize myself with the track on the simulator but there are several different layouts!

Re: NOLA 2018 Layout

Which title even has NOLA?

Ooooh man. Thanks!

Never even looked at rFactor 2, since the oculus rift support is beta only. Guess I'll try it for some track experience.

You guys are all so helpful. I appreciate the forum on which I asked this so I fully expected these responses. I know it’s on rFactor, I even mentioned I have it on my simulator! What I don’t know, and what I asked in my question, was what track layout Lemons uses!

You didn't mention which title, since there are a plethora of sims out there. That's why I asked which title.

I'm happy to not help.  You are welcome.

Re: NOLA 2018 Layout

Since this is getting weird...keep in mind, it is new track for Lemons.  HQ is you best bet and probably Nick Pon most likely to answer...if they even know yet.

Re: NOLA 2018 Layout

rFactor 2 went on sale on steam for $15. Picked it up yesterday and did a few laps around NOLA.

The FFB is a lot different in rfactor than say iRacing or Assetto Corsa. Not really a bad thing, but different. The steering is noticeably softer when the tires begin to break loose. I'll try playing with settings some more. I'm using a Fanatec CSW V2.

Out of the box I enabled Vr in the video setting and it worked just fine with the oculus rift. Just make sure to map a re-center button.
