Topic: Gingerman Summer!

So the eMails seem to not have dropped, but the registration has updated, so who's in? Are we doing the Pot Luck?
MBTL racing has a slick new theme coming that should be entertaining.

#31 MR2 is in, we got an enclosed trailer the day after autobahn to guarantee it doesn't rain at any future races. We also got a bigger ice box for the cool shirt.

Re: Gingerman Summer!

The Polka Kings will be there. Reserved a spot high and dry, so we won't have to bring a life raft this time.

Re: Gingerman Summer!

Glue Sticks will be traveling west for our second Gingerman event.  Looking forward to being part of the Midwest experience again.  No clue what car we're bringing.  Depending on what happens this weekend at NJMP it will be the one that survives best.  X-Type, NX2000, or Firebird

What, you up in the woods this time?  Actually for June, that might be the prime location to stay cool...unless it, like snows or something.

The Knights Templar cannot confirm entry right now, but will be there if I can get my tune sorted out. Melted a piston last weekend, so I need to figure out my lean condition before I put her back on track.

On this note, there may be a spare reserved electric spot next to what appears to be two of the few veteran Midwest teams that are not abandoning us for other races or like family time over the 4th.  I can neither confirm nor deny that there may or may not be a bouncy house involved.  Mainly because I have not gotten over to see said bouncy house owner yet.

I forgot about that. Who do I owe money to for the spot?

Yea a lot of folks seem to think the Chump nelson race is the better choice, It doesn't have bathrooms last time I checked.

Re: Gingerman Summer!

Team sheen will be there, hopefully with both cars.  Mirada needs a lot of attention, and so does my yard.  I will try hard to get my priorities straight on this. Chris and Bayley are making plans for the Mirada to dominate, or at least steer in the direction its supposed to.

Even though we have way better chance in the rain I want some dry warm track.  Anybody staying for the rally?   FYI if your planning on staying somewhere besides the track, like in town, you may want to get it booked very soon.  That weekend is when the peak tourist season hits our little town.  Don't wait till last minute or it will get $$$$$.  Great time to spend the week out here with the family if you need the excuse to go racing close to a holiday.

Team Sheen Integra and Mirada.

Re: Gingerman Summer!

We'll be missing ( abandoning ) our first Gingerman race since 2012!  Gonna be hitting one of those "other" races -- in this case the Colorado Lemons race three weeks earlier -- with a friend's team.

Be back for the fall race with the Imperial, so if you're hoping to win class C at Gman, better do it now.  wink

Placebo Racing will be there with hopes of keeping all 4 wheels on the car.

Re: Gingerman Summer!

The Wonderment Consortium will be there with the Scoupe and a full roster of idiots.

This will likely be the Scoupe's last race before I sell it. If you know anyone in the market, send them my way!

Team Orca will be there with our Mazda.
And we will be there for the pot luck.

Re: Gingerman Summer!

Large Spheres Racing will be there with our #200 MR2, hopefully with better luck than at Autobahn.

Re: Gingerman Summer!

Team Skid Steer will be there with the Little Red Bobcat for Class B mediocrity.  I'm interested in doing the potluck but not sure what.  The steamed pork dumplings I made for NCM were a hit but I couldn't keep up with demand.  Since that was my first attempt, I'm sure I can do much better the second time around.
