Topic: Florida Man Poker Run in a 1991 Honda Beat

My wife and I have entered and are pretty excited.

It's going to be pretty tough in this car - it's tiny.

The car is right hand drive. It has a 656 cc three cylinder engine. And it burns a *lot* of oil.

But at least it doesn't have any luggage space to speak of.

In keeping with the poker run theme, our team name is One Bad Beat.

That is a very cool looking car. My wife would love something like that.

Everybody grab your brooms, it's shenanigans!

How many cars do you think will enter in this rally?

I really don't know. This is my first event.

I hope there's a good turnout.

Does anyone know how many entered the Escape From Moscow rally earlier this year?

Looks like there was 42 entries earlier this year.

Fourteen time loser. You'd think I'd know better by now.

Got new tires mounted. Pretty limited selection in the US in sizes that will fit. I ended up going with Federal SS595s.  I also installed new door speakers and a bluetooth amplifier to replace the failing Japan market stock head unit. It sounds decent and plays loud enough to listen with the top down.

Next up is learning how to install a new convertible top.

I got the new top installed this weekend. It went easier than expected. Only needed three unplanned trips to Lowes for supplies.  smile
