Topic: News: Lemons will be hosting a race on a DIRT track!

ok, Fake News.
But just an idea, maybe on one of those tracks that they race those big trucks, with a bunch of those jumpy little hills?
They could break up the cars into RWD, FWD, and AWD classes?
The attrition rate would probably be huge, at least at first
And the speeds probably slower
I think it would be loads of fun....although I'm not sure how my little Prelude would fare....but helluva learning curve...
I would definitely go...it would probably be a totally different experience...

and finally won something, Class C Win: Loudon, NH 2022

Kind of, but needs more dirt and lumpy bumpy jumpy stuff....

More like this:   (scroll over half way to see the racing)

and

Imagine....this would be killer....
I wonder how long Lemons cars would last...
I think this would put Lemons team to more of a challenge..

That kind of suspension travel is expensive.

There is an off-road "Beater" racing series in Sweden called "Folk Racing"

We could do something just like it..
Crandon Wisconsin could easily handle it
Would anybody show up with their:

or anything from the Gambler 500

True....so it would be interesting who/what survives with a budget limit...
So cars would likely need to cut back on speed to survive...
And so the tortoise would win!  (Lemons loves it when the underdog wins...)

And you could attract all the rally cross drivers, probably would be great practice for them too.

I tried rally cross, but 3 or 4 runs, 3 minutes or so per run...excitement / time ratio was not that high...
Sure, it was cheap to sign up, but the cars are certainly not cheap

I think something like the FolkRacing stuff would be awesome...

I am down with that kind of sickness. The early vids of this Canadian ...series?....are wild.
