Topic: Scooter the trophy goes on a Lemons adventure.

Sometimes I wonder if Jay and Nick realized in 2006 that a silly race series put together for crapcan cars would accidentally result in one of the coolest communities of racers, spectators and goofballs ever created. In no other circle of friends, colleagues, or organizations have I ever run across a community so willing to lend a helping hand, contribute knowledge and or materials, and just generally go out of their WAY to help out. This is unheard of in any other forum I can think of. I can't imagine what the world would be like if it's inhabitants acted more like members of this goofy racing community. Better, probably.

On December 8, 2019 after our best finish racing to date at the Arse Freeze Apalooza (3rd in class and 13th out of 135 or so. And candidly - we really don't try to be that competitive - we just love the track time and are generally broke) we achieved nirvana and won one of the ultimate awards possible - Life of the Paddock party.

In celebration of the award and to celebrate coming into the 15th year of Lemons as of 2021 we've decided to send Scooter (said trophy) on a year long journey to explore whether this community and https://www.facebook.com/groups/2544572522294062/ Crap Can Relay Service. can help Scooter attend every race and record the hijinks and behind the scenes that is Lemons. Scooter will travel with a diary and we encourage everyone to record Scooter's journey to the Queen Vic facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Queen-Vicky-24 … 6993649508), twitter handle (https://twitter.com/queenvicky) or by notes attached to weather balloons. If nothing else this will truly be an experiment to see if we can get Scooter around the country (world?) this year and make it safely back to our final race of the season at Sonoma on December 5-6.

Who's with me?! Can we do this??

Scooter is currently in San Rafael, CA and needs to get to Leeds, AL in two weeks.

Fantastic - thanks to M45 racing!

Looks like Scooter is confirmed for 6 and maybe 8 races so far. This is getting ripe. If you or your unsavory colleagues would like to participate we are coordinating transport and travel on the google sheet below.
