Topic: v6 Honda Accord
Are there any teams that are running a 6th+ gen 1998+ Accord with the J30 V6 engine in Lemons?
The prices are coming down but wondering how the judges would look look at such a car

Ran one a few years back, but had the dumpster fire 4-spd automatic. We tried sourcing the 6-spd, but couldn't find one to save our lives. If you've got the auto...pity. They will look at such a car with pity.
Fast enough of a car for us as first-timers and handled well after we added a rear sway bar from an Acura CL-S. Dunlop Direzzas (of a prior vintage) got us through 2 races. You will need an additional transmission cooler if you want to race on Sunday as well. Engine was reliable though.
Read once that the minivan heads (J32?) could swap over, but we never went down that road.
